Special Ops Survivors

During our time together students will train in essential skills of survival, including shelter building, tracking, trapping, cordage, and more!



Class Description:
Welcome to the ultimate adventure of Wildheart Special Ops Survivors, where young minds embark on a thrilling journey to master essential survival skills. In this immersive experience, kids learn the art of shelter building, discovering the secrets of creating sturdy and protective structures from natural materials found in the wild. The students will also delve into the world of plant identification, honing their knowledge of edible and medicinal plants, as well as those to avoid. One of the most important practices for Special Ops Survivors is navigating the basics of water purification, and in this camp youngsters will explore methods to make water safe for consumption. The program also introduces the ancient skills of trapping and hunting, providing a hands-on understanding of tracking, setting traps, and respecting wildlife. As part of the adventure, kids uncover the secrets of primitive tool making, fashioning essential implements from rocks, sticks, and other readily available materials. Lastly, participants master the art of cordage, learning to weave and knot various fibers into useful ropes for a variety of purposes. Wildheart Special Ops Survivors provides a comprehensive experience, blending essential survival skills that will last a lifetime with interactive games and activities designed to promote friendship and teamwork in the great outdoors.
This is a camp that focuses on advanced survival skills beyond emergency preparedness and delves into the skills needed for living off the land for extended periods of time. If you’re looking for a camp that covers the fundamentals of emergency survival, Wildheart Wilderness Preparedness and Emergency Survival is a better bet. Taken in a series, students will cover a broad set of survival skills that will apply to any situation imaginable, from getting lost on a day hike to testing ones skills on a fully primitive camp trip.
Students Will:
- Learn shelter building fundamentals
