Class Description:
Reptile Trackers Summer Camp is an unforgettable, hands-on adventure where young explorers dive into the wild world of reptiles! This class is perfect for beginners but also advanced enough for kids who already see themselves as reptile-finding experts. It will challenge them and significantly expand their knowledge! Campers will discover reptiles in their natural habitats, learning how they thrive in different ecosystems. Through daily scavenger hunts, campers will sharpen their skills by tracking reptile habitats, spotting signs of animal activity, and comparing plants and animals in various environments. Fun interactive games, like guessing the perfect habitats for different reptiles, will spark curiosity and critical thinking. The camp also includes exciting reptile egg hunts and opportunities to observe amphibians in their early stages of life. Led by a passionate reptile expert, campers will gain the knowledge to safely identify reptiles, avoid dangerous species, and develop a deep respect for nature. By the end of the camp, they’ll leave with not just knowledge, but a sense of responsibility for protecting these incredible creatures and their habitats!
