This 2 acre property is the old Homestead of Peter Jensen, built in 1903. It is right down the road from the Deschutes River, making it a perfect place for games, riparian explorations, and animal sightings.

For Homeschool, No School Nature Day, Spring Break Camp, and Summer Camp classes, Mystic Mesa Learning Farm is the drop-off and pick-up location where kids do opening circle, the opening game, and closing circle. Kids will be shuttled a half mile to the river and back.

During the warm months, the sun is particularly intense in the canyon, so be sure to prepare accordingly with sun protection. We request earth-friendly sunscreens and recommend sun-hats and a good shirt to swim in if your child is more prone to sun-burns.
