From Sisters, drive 4.2 miles west on Hwy 242. Turn Right into Cold Springs campground and drive into the first big parking lot next to the restrooms. We will meet here.
Located just southwest of Sisters, Cold Springs Campground is nestled below a thick Ponderosa Pine forest mixed with birches in the wet areas. A small spring runs through the center of this popular, shaded campground. We allow kids to empty their water bottles and fill up at the spring. If you do not want your child drinking the pure spring water for any reason, please let us know ahead of time. This is one of our favorite camp locations!
